Three Letters from Journal Sentinel Readers

There are three letters to the editor in this morning's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The first two focus on the far-reaching second sentence of the ban and respond to this op-ed.

Jay Beder of Milwaukee has this to say about the sentence of the ban:
This provision is no longer based on protection of marriage but is rather a way to make gays miserable, denying them benefits that would allow them to live a reasonably normal life. It seems downright mean.
And in the second letter, Christine Evans comments that the writer of the op-ed failed to recognize that the ban "will decide whether to outlaw all civil unions substantially similar to marriage..."

The third letter responds to this moving op-ed published over the weekend.
