Greatest Hits: Conversations With...
Since we're getting lots of new visitors to our site thanks to the support of bloggers like Pam Spaulding, Lloydletta, and others we've already mentioned, I thought I'd highlight some of my favorite blog entries.
In the "Conversations With..." series, campaign staff members transcribe intimate conversations with loved ones to explore their attitudes about issues both personal and political--including how they feel about the ban. It's one thing to talk about the need to have conversations with friends and family, but it's another to make it happen and record it for the world to see.
These conversations get pretty real. What's it like to ask your grandfather how he felt when you came out? About what happened when your family's priest urged them to support a ban? Or to ask your brother if he actually plans to vote in an election that matters so much to your future?
We're working on new editions of the series, but this is what we've published so far:
Back in March, my Dad and I talked: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
Justin had a conversation with his grandfather: Part 1, Part 2
Ingrid and her dad talked too: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
And Pabitra sat down with her younger brother and his girlfriend: Part 1, Part 2
