We're Hitting the Airwaves

This morning we bumped up our voter education efforts. For the past two years we've been talking with voters about the ban at events, at their doorsteps, on the phones, and in churches.

And thanks to all of your contributions to the campaign, today we're starting to reach them on TV.

Our 30-second spot will air in western, central, and northeastern Wisconsin for a few weeks. We're starting there because those are regions that can be more difficult to reach through our other voter education efforts. The ads will help start the conversation that we'll continue as we open field offices around the state.

JFYI, I seem to be having some problems accessing the PC version of the video when using FireFox. Through IE it works fine, but maybe something about the Javascript that's being used to serve up the file is acting a little wonky in FF.

PS - The commercial is awesome! Once it starts airing I'm excited to start asking people if they've seen it, and if not, sending them to the site!

Beautiful! The ad aims right where we ought to be aiming.

(1) It addresses the abrogation of basic rights, rather than adding "special rights."

(2) It's being broadcast in the rural parts of the state, where folks are really hesitant to vote for something that will be mean 'n' nasty to their neighbors.

The ad looks great. I forwarded it on to my friends. Hopefully this ad will get lots of airplay between now and the election!

Kudos! Perfect first ad in just the right market!

Yet another piece of incredible work from the most incredible campaign I've ever seen!

Spot on message! And it's being aired in markets that the amendment supporters have to consider their "home turf" - Marvelous!

LeAnn - You have to have the right media player plug-in for Firefox to play the PC version of the ad. It's not a Javascript issue. Both RealPlayer and Windows Media play the ad just fine.

The ad looks great you guys. They are even talking about it on a New Yorker's blog. Everyone I have shown the ad to really likes it. Thanks for all the work you do!
