South Dakota Poll Gives Hope

This November, eight states could see constitutional bans on their ballot. But it looks like Wisconsin isn't the only state that can vote one down.

A poll of 800 people in red-state South Dakota showed 49 percent of likely voters opposed their ban with only 41 percent in favor of it.

This article from examines the changing attitudes towards gay families and these constitutional bans in South Dakota, Colorado, and-- you guessed it-- Wisconsin.

Those are pretty amazing poll results! Why the difference between South Dakota (8% spread in our favor) and Wisconsin (8% spread out of our favor)?

Is it the way the poll questions were worded? Or is it the same? What are we doing wrong? Or better yet, what are the folks in South Dakota doing right?
